diet and exercise, day 1

Weight: 140 pounds
Morale: Low

Goal: Muscles, 10 less pounds and running a 12 minute mile.

I swear. I just want to be healthy. But skinny and attractive again would be nice too. Don't get me wrong, I never want to go back to the 5'10" 85 lbs look, but I wouldn'tmind turning a few heads.

So I joined the local mega club in hopes of humiliating myself back into fitness. There's no way out. I signed a 24 month contract. Woohoo. I am hoping by Christmas I will be about 130 and able to lift weights and make it through a kickboxing class without wanting to die. My goal tonight is to stay on the treadmill for more than 10 minutes. Uck.

My lovely will be there for moral support. I hope she doesn't laugh too hard. I hope I don't laugh too hard.

Diet shall include: soup for lunch and skipping brownies for breakfast. Sensible dinner.

Although I will continue topatronize local coffee shop to see cute counter girl. A steamer won't hurt me...its just milk....right???
